When my POD was unloaded, I found that two of my dining room chairs were damaged (one's leg was completely broken off), my leaded glass coffee table (which had not been wrapped AT ALL) was completely shattered, and much of my china had been broken. When I demanded recompense, I was given a copy of the waiver which neatly claims that since I boxed my china, it's not their problem, and since my POD wasn't unloaded for over a week, they're off the hook for the rest. At most they'll only pay 60 cents/pound of damage - my coffee table repair estimates are over $1,000! Yes, I had the option to purchase additional insurance, but, since I thought I was dealing with a "professional" moving service, I didn't bother.
These guys helped me to get rid of the garbage in my backyard. Although I didn't expect to pay the amount I paid, the overall result was more than good. Clean work. Thank you.
Thank goodness I found this company. My mover hadn't come on day of moving and I called Tuxedo. They was able to help me next day. I was shoked! Guys you are rock!
Tuxedo Moving is wonderful moving company! They moved my 3-rooms apartment last September. I was so busy that couldn't trace but they treated all my boxes and piano with care. Prices also were great!
