Duane is the worst to deal with. He refused to take responsibility for losing connection parts to the washing machine. As a result, they hooked up the washer machine with missing parts and water leaked into the walls, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage. He refuses to take any responsibility for it. Very unprofessional. This man has no business in business. Unethical and quite frankly, his conduct as the owner is distasteful, ghetto, shady and just a person you don't want to deal with. We had no idea because all of his reviews on Uhaul are FAKE!!! Hopefully my review can help alert others. If you want to see real reviews for this moving company, go to Yelp.
Advanced Movers: We specialize in leaving our customers with a type satisfaction that warrants our return when it is time to move again. We urge our customers to make sure everything is the way it should be before we leave. Once we are gone we are no longer liable for any type damages that are believed to be on our watch. If it is determined we are responsible while we are there we are sure to rectify the situation. There is no way we have been in business as long as we have with the character such as the rant described above. Go ADV!
I had an appointment to load our furniture and boxes on July 28, 2022, at 5pm. Duane called 30 minutes before the appointment requesting to do it the next morning, because it was hot. FYI, it has been hot for several weeks already. We were on a busy schedule, and could not afford to change the date. Not a reliable company!
Advanced Movers: The safety of mankind is of the utmost importance. Sometimes we get to involved in self and and our "busy" schedules we forget about the next man(humanity). Texas is HOT! If it is deemed unsafe because of a excessive heat warning we are putting things on hold. Our safety is necessary in order to continue to thrive in this business. We have been in business so long we understand the assignment. Having said that, we understand the word compensation. If we are not able to meet our obligation for whatever reason we are sure to take care of our customers from a monetary standpoint.
Worst moving experience of my 60+ years. Movers did not know how to move furnature without damaging it, did not know how to use the utility dolly, and did not know how to load a U-Haul. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!
Advanced Movers: Repetition means over and over and over until you do it again. Imagine the number of jobs completed by Advanced Movers. We are still going strong.
