The owner called just before the movers were scheduled to arrive to tell me one of them had had car troubles. I was understanding and when he asked to move the service window from 10 AM to 1-2 pm, I agreed. However, at about 1:30, the movers contacted me to say they’d blown out a tire, but the service window wouldn’t change.
I called at 2 and both the owner and movers hang up on me.
They did finally show up…at 3:52 pm. They were super slow, didn’t wrap antique furniture with blankets, tried to get me to close out the ticket after an hour by alleging that the company I hired them through was closing (they were open for two more hours), and left about half our stuff in the apartment. After the second claim of car trouble, I only did business through the hiring company, and I’m so glad I did, as the hiring company was great. Now we just need to figure out how to load the rest of our things into a van in the next 11 hours before our final walkthrough. I’d never recommend this company!

If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is an absolute MESS and made our moving experience horrible. First of all, the movers showed up on the wrong day at first, then said they were coming on the right day (Monday) but an hour later than they were scheduled, which is already irritating because we have to reserve our elevators for both the building we were moving out of and the building we moved into. The movers were supposed to arrive at 10 AM, they didn't arrive until after 2 PM, so they were 4 hours late. My roommate continuously called them over and over again and they either didn't respond or the guy kept telling her they were on their way/almost there. We had to do most of the moving. They threw our fragile boxes around, everything in our boxes broke, there is glass everywhere when we open our boxes. We missed our move-in time to the new building and they had to come back the next day, which they sent one man to do all the moving, and were late to that as well.

If I could give NO stars I would, I'm a disabled Veteran that needed help, my father found these clowns while setting up for my move across the country. Not only did they cost me a $1000 more to move because they poorly packed my pods. They literally crushed stuff that was clearly marked fragile under things clearly marked heavy, they broke tons of my personal belongings wasted my money and are now claiming they have no responsibility for any of it. Worst company I have ever done business with in my 40 years of life. Would NOT recommend them to anyone who values their possessions.
Also, the business owner is an unprofessional jackass who will argue, fight and bitch instead of fixing the problems caused by his company.

Shame on UHaul for setting up ALLSTAR MOVERS. Poor service. Asked for 2 unloaders for a truck. 1 showed up almost 2 hours late and brought his pit bull dog. A second person showed up almost 3 hours after needed. Damaged walls and damaged furniture in the unloading. Owner was unresponsive. NEVER use this service. I wanted a reduced fee because of the damage and ALLSTAR MOVERS tricked me into paying first saying I could not file a claim until I paid. Big mistake. UHaul removed them from their site so I cannot get reimbursed.

They treat their laborers Poorly & work them like slaves . They never send the right crews & always come understaff & expect to get paid the same . Never again !!!
