I am currently working as a CAD designer, graphically designing textile prints and woven fabrics for all Macy's Home private labels. Previously, I majored in fashion design at Fashion Institute of Technology, specializing in women's sportswear. Aside from my full time job at Macy's, I worked as an Adobe Suite private tutor, training design graduates the basic Photoshop and Illustrator maneuvers required to enter the fashion industry. As a teacher, I want to help students further develop as artists by showing them how their strengths and talents can be applied. My goals are to utilize my knowledge of design and construction to help students combine their hand drawing abilities with modern technology, and to motivate creative thinking in the areas of everyday life. I took a few drawing lessons from Cheryl! Unfortunately, I had to give them up for a while since I was busy at work. But I want to say that Cheryl is really talented and even if you're not a great painter, she can teach you at least some basic technics.
