Ladies beaware! I went in for a silkpress on my natural curly hair. She ended up sneaking a baby relaxer on my hair and over processing it with chemicals and then heat. Just a PSA to not just let anyone touch your crown.
Amber Fowler : I did this young ladies hair 3 years ago and despite being a natural hair care stylist who does not use, believe in or give these harmful relaxer companies my money, she insists I put a “baby relaxer” (Not entirely sure what that is) in her hair. I’ve done everything in within my ability to assure her that at no point in any way, shape or form were there any chemicals used. At first I was devastated that she believed this and proceeded to post it on my instagram from time to time but now, 3 years later I figure you can’t go 25 years as a hairstylist without a wild scenario.
