MJR provided a free estimate. It was competitive with the other companies that consulted. However, Mike's approach to waterproofing my basement was much higher quality than the proposal of the other companies. He and his employee were courteous, on-time daily, and extended significant work effort daily (despite the ugly nature of the job). He kept me informed of the progress of the job, and explained daily what he found digging and his plan to further mitigate the risk of water intrusion. The owner was always on site and performed the more intricate jobs himself. I intend to utilize Mike's company to do my concrete work since they did such a great job on the waterproofing task.
It has been a joy having MJR handle the concrete project for our sidewalk, porch, and driveway. Their work ethic is fantastic. When I praised the project, they humbly said "We like to do it like we'd do our own." I'd hire them again, and I recommend them to anyone.
