My coworker who is a refugee and does refugee resettlement locked their keys in their car after work and was quoted $35 + a $19 service fee to unlock the car. After arrival it took the locksmith less then 10 minutes to unlock the car. My coworker was then forced to sign for a $250 charge because the lockout was 'strenuous' - no new keys or locks were involved. Rocket Locksmith has 4 other complaints against them through the Better Business Bureau - I hope this issue is rectified soon. Seems predatory to make charge $196 more then the quoted price during a vulnerable emergency.
Rocket locksmith: This sounds like a fake review, never ever did we charge 250$ for a lockout.
I should say this is quite a nice locksmith service! I bought a new lock and I needed someone who could install it, then I found Rocket locksmith here. The guy came the very same day and did his job. The price was fair enough and the result was great. Recommend.
