About
It's never too late (or too early!) to learn how to play accordion. And if you already play, our skilled instructor Natasha Geddie can help you improve your skills and take you to that next level of performance and satisfaction!
We offer private and group lessons suited to all levels of students and players; you can even join a band or ensemble! Our students benefit with the Sam Ash Music advantage: World class musical instruction PLUS special student discounts on gear from the biggest and broadest on-hand inventory in music retail!
Natasha Geddie began classical training as an accordionist at the age of 3 and studied for ten years under Al Trick at the National Institute of Music in Dallas. She joined Al Trick's all adult accordion band at the age of 7 and began her career as a professional musician at the age of 18 at Six Flags Over Texas.
She has performed on stage, for television, movies and in radio commercials, and toured the former Soviet Union in 1987 with the Texas USSR Musician's Exchange as a solo classical musician. She began teaching private accordion lessons in 1988, and is a 1989 graduate of the Southeastern Paralegal Institute. She completed an apprenticeship program with Accordion Rose (Al Trick' daughter) for basic accordion repair, which was partially sponsored by the Texas Accordion Association, a non-profit organization she and several members of the Al Trick Accordion Band started in the 1980s. She has worked in the DFW Metroplex for over thirty years as an entertainer for restaurants, weddings, Oktoberfest parties and a variety of festivals. She worked with ARTS For People from 2000 to 2011 providing music therapy for residents of local hospitals and assisted living therapy centers. She teaches keyboard accordion students at all playing levels and beginning students for the button accordion.
