Hello there! My name is Richard. I originate from Brazil, am 21 years old, and speak four languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English, and Doggish =] I am a natural DOG LOVER! I grew up with a dog my whole entire life. I was only 12 when my family moved us to the United States. Unfortunately, our dog did not make it with us; I was devastated. It was after about a year that we finally added another dog to our family, and I became whole again. Having recently relocated to the Upper West Side, I am currently having the same experience again, as the dog is staying with my family in New Jersey. At home, I was always in charge of bathing, walking, and feeding our dog. I really miss my relationship with Yuri, he used to sleep at my feet every night, follow and stay by me in every room of the house, and even wait for me outside the bathroom door. I love every responsibility that comes with having a dog; it's definitely one of the things I miss the most before moving to Manhattan. I am ecstatically happy to visit my family mainly because of our Lhasa Apso. He is turning 12 years old on December 3. I will treat your dog as I would treat my own, with lots of love, patience, care, and understanding. After all they are just as alive as you and I. I am here to offer the care and attention your dog needs. Whenever you need a daily dog walker or sitter, you can rely on me to satisfactorily deliver these aspects. I endorse a "NO DOG HOME ALONE" policy, along with the belief that every dog should be walked at least twice a day. They can get frustrated being at home alone for long periods of times, and it can be hazardous to their health. Also, not taking your dog outside can lead to fear of environment, and anti-social behaviors when around other dogs. These and many more reasons are why I make my services very affordable to you: $10 for one 30min walk (add a dog for $5) $15 for two 30min walks in the same day $15 for one dog sitting visit (add a dog for $5) $25 for two dog sitting visits in a day Ask for a quote on overnight sitting My friends would describe me as a humorous, bubbly, friendly, and outgoing individual. As well as a multi-tasking, responsible, perfectionist (specially about grammar), and passionate friend. When I explain something to my friends, I am very detailed and patient about it. I explain it as I would want it explained to me. Leaving your dog under my care will leave the three of us highly satisfied. My availability is very flexible.
