Affordable Violin Lessons - $25 for 30min.

Aloha! I am a female violinist located on the North Shore of Oahu.

I have been playing the violin for 16 yrs, trained through the Suzuki method and certified to teach. I've been teaching violin and guitar privately for 11yrs, taught strings at an elementary school in Florida from 02' - 06', performed with The Hernando and Tampa Symphony Orchestra for 5 yrs., and have played for private parties, restaurants, weddings(quartet), conferences, worship bands and festivals. I teach mostly through the Suzuki curriculum, but I have a lot of Folk/Bluegrass & Irish/Celtic style music in my repertoire as well. I also love to transform contemporary music into fun violin pieces.

I am looking for dedicated, flexible students of ALL ages who would like weekly lessons. I am willing to drive to your home or workplace if it is reasonably close to the North Shore area (Haleiwa, Waialua,Mililani,Wahiawa,Pearlridge), or you are more than welcome to have lessons at my residence. Please, let me know what day/times you do have available, and I will try my best to accommodate.

** I will have a lot more openings and time available this summer, so I will be able to drive into the Honolulu area 1-2 times a week as well. I will, however, be off island for the month of August.**

Lessons are $25 for 30min. and $45 for 1 hour
OR
$20 for 30min. And $40 for 1 hour IF lesson is held at my residence.

I absolutely love music, and especially teaching children. It is my goal to harness and observe each individual students' learning style, interests, and tastes in order to make every lesson as fun, creative, and productive as possible. Not only do I want my students to leave each lesson feeling excited and encouraged by what they've learned/will learn, but it is my hope that they will also grow in confidence as a musician AND person, being motivated and inspired to achieve greater things.
