Don't let just any mechanic work on your truck! Dont take my word for it... call any big name auto repair shop and ask them if they work on diesel trucks and if they can do a EGR delete and tune. 99% of the big corporate shops out there wont even know what that is much less will they want the job. Fact is there mechanics are NOT diesel mechanics. The Dealers also tend to stear away from this work because they barely know enough about this kind of work as it is.
