I'm new to Bakersfield. My husband was relocated and I had to leave an established, home based grooming business. It was upsetting, but I hope to establish new relationships here, and help you to keep your baby in pristine condition!
I have 20 years experience with grooming and boarding. In order to familiarize myself with how all grooming businesses work, I have worked for Petco, Petsmart, Petsense, vet hospitals, pet stores, private grooming facilities and I have owned my own business in Georgia. I have never been fired from a job. Safety is my main priority. I love the animals I care for and they will be treated with compassion when in my care.
I groom all dogs, all sizes. I have experience with every breed and will accept any dog as long as it's not in need of veterinary help.
A bath only would include a bath, anal glands, ears cleaned, nails and anal expression.
A FFS (face, feet and sanitary) would include everything listed above, but I would trim around the face the feet and the bottom!
A full groom would include everything above plus an all over haircut, which we would discuss first and make sure we both understand what will be done.
SEVERELY matted dogs will be $10-$20 extra, if you want me to try to brush them out. If it becomes too painful for the dog, we would need to shave the mats out. If it takes no longer than a normal cut then there would be no extra charge.
Each dog or cat is priced individually. Since every groom and pet is different I will assess the situation to give you THE best price possible. In this economy we all want to make and save money, right? :-)
My prices are very competitive. Without the overhead I can pass on my savings to you. Plus, I can work with YOUR schedule to give you an appointment that is convenient to YOU! I have no set hours. By appointment only.
I do toe nail trims for $10. $15 if I come to you and you live within 4 miles. If you have any questions feel free to call me anytime. If I can't answer them I will help you find someone who can.
