Experienced reading / writing/ social studies tutor has openings for students of all ages. Lessons tailored to meet the needs of every student. Can include (phonics,grammar, comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, drafts, proofreading, outlining etc.) I also work with gifted students and individuals that are bilingual.
I have worked with students for over 40 years in both school and domestic settings. I received my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Newark State/Kean University in NJ and my Masters in Education from Madonna University of Michigan. I was employed in the Airport Public Schools as the Title One Reading Specialist before retiring. I have raised 4 children, three of which attended University of Michigan.
Feel free to call me to discuss your student's needs. My fee is $30.00 per hour at either your home or the Livonia Public Library on 5 Mile Road.
