Are you looking to take your guitar skills and musical knowledge to another level? Do you have a son or daughter who is pursuing the guitar and would benefit from having musical direction?

My name is Isaac and I am offering private guitar and music lessons.

Learning to play an instrument is a gratifying journey. If one finds the right instructor--one who is patient, knowledgeable and accountable--it can very well be a stress-free and pleasure-filled experience. My personal responsibility to each student is to ensure that they incrementally acquire the basic competencies that will allow them to self-educate and to feel confident in their musical endeavors. Initially, I assess the knowledge and technical skills of the individual and take note of their goals, then I begin to develop a personalized course of action that will put them on track to achieve those goals.

Because I believe many people learn best in the comfort and convenience of their own homes, I bring my services to the student. That's right--I'm a traveling instructor.

I come from a Jazz, Blues, Soul, Funk, Country and Western background, but enjoy various other genres. For over a decade I have been learning about music and playing the guitar. I am grateful to have been under the tutelage of a few of the Treasure Valley's finest players, and to have had the privilege to study and perform at the university level. Currently, I am a member of a working quartet in the Boise area.
