My name is Derek and I am a mechanic who works out of my garage on the side. I have over 18 years of experience. I took the automotive program at Rock Valley College from 1998-2000. I worked at Advance Auto for 7 years, and Oreilly Auto for 2 years. I worked at a couple small shops also. I work on domestic and import. I work on engines, chassis, suspension, brakes, ignition systems, fuel systems, heat and A/C systems, cooling systems, cooling system pressure testing, charging systems, P/S, timing, sensors, check engine light, minor transmission, and installing audio systems. I do have a full time job during the week, just looking for some side work for nights and weekends.
