Good day, my name is Alex. Currently I'm taking on side work, I want to be very clear I am not a contractor, I am a carpentry subcontractor. I'm the guy the contractor hires to build a job they sold to their customers. I do a good bit of side work this time of year and I'm finally getting a few gaps in my schedule. Right now is the best time of year to build your new deck, or fence or replace/repair an existing deck or fence. A popular build this time of year is converting an existing wood deck to a composite deck with vinyl railings. Very low maintenance and they do look very very sharp.

I am proficient in building or renovating wood and metal framing, cement block foundation repair or installation, sheetrock repair and installation, shingle roof repair and installation, exterior siding installation, insulating a structure properly, window and door repair and installation (JeldWen level III installer and service technician), garage door replacements, cabinetry repair and installation, tile installation, hardwood flooring installation, kitchen and bath remodels, full house rehabs, new construction, full paint service and deck refinishing staining service etc etc etc. I also get a few calls a year from guys who get a bit too deep doing a shed kit assembly or frustrated parents trying to assemble a gigantic swingset clubhouse/ treehouse contraption, sorry i know its a bit frustrating but I'm only here to help.

I am 36 years old, I've been doing renovation carpentry for over a decade and I've been swinging a hammer going on twenty years (ok ok so we use nailguns but you get my drift, pretty much the only time I wasn't building for a living I was in the Army.).
