Lisa Brown, founder and owner of Brown & Brown Accounting, Inc., earned her Bachelors of Science in Accounting (BS Accounting) from the University of Massachusetts' Charlton College of Business, and has more than 34 years' experience in her field, including an extensive amount of time as a senior SQL developer DBA for in-house corporate business software development. In pursuing her interests in taxation, Lisa recently sat for, and passed, Part I of the SEE exam, a part of the IRS Enrolled Agent process.

All bookkeepers and accounting staff have a degree in accounting as well.
