About

I love tutoring and private teaching! I am highly qualified and have excellent references. At present, I tutor two students in high school, one young man who is a freshman in college, as a psychology major, one 5th grader, one 3rd grader and one adult studying for her GED. Additionally, I have managed several home school students by tutoring them in their courses and teaching them to stay organized for Beacon Online Academy, K-12, Keystone, Nevada Connections Academy and James Madison Online High School.

I have a Master's degree in education, a social science Bachelor's degree & a current teaching license. I also have a lot of experience working with students who have learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADD, Asperger's Syndrome, etc.) and other disabilities such as high anxiety and depression. My job is to make sure that my students' academic needs are met while helping them to overcome whatever obstacles may be in their way! The main subjects that I tutor in are reading comprehension, writing, phonics, math, computer literacy, GED exam, ACT exam, HSPE exam, AP World History, AP US History & APA/MLA papers. I specialize in any of the social sciences: history, economics, government, psychology, sociology, anthropology and cultural geography. I do have a background check & teaching license on file with the Nevada Department of Education, available to you, upon request.

CURRENT RATE & SCHEDULE:
