Whether you are just picking up your instrument or exploring your musical voice for the first time, or you are an experienced player or vocalist looking to take the next step of your musical journey, I'd love to be of service to you!

My name is Dayne Herndon. As a 25-year-old multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, performer, and music producer, I have a lifetime's worth of experience singing and playing guitar, percussion, and drum set. Since having studied music production and jazz guitar performance at Berklee College of Music, I have performed and offered sound healings at venues and festivals around the world, facilitated interactive music workshops in many different settings, provided original composition and sound design for a wide variety of projects, put out 8 original albums and a number of singles, and taught private lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Stylistically speaking, my reach is incredibly broad, spanning everything from classic rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and funk to blues, reggae, classical, Latin, world music, and beyond--so no matter what type of music interests you, I know I can help you to cultivate a deeper and more comprehensive musical understanding. Lessons are specially catered to what you are most excited to explore and will always be guided by your specific musical interests. Whatever it is that you are passionate about learning--whether it be music theory, instrumental technique, compositional approach, ear training, improvisation, playing in a group setting, performance techniques, sight-singing, or simply how to play one of your most beloved tunes--I will assist you in developing your musical ability, and we'll have a blast in the process!

Lesson rates are $30 for a 30-minute lesson, $55 for a 60-minute lesson, and $80 for a 90-minute lesson. You are more than welcome to come to my home for lessons, and I am also willing to travel to your preferred location. (Travel rates may apply.)
