I am a foreign medical graduate and a former NYC Board of Education substitute teacher and I worked for a private Tutoring Company. This experience allows me to be familiarized with the education system and diverse curricula. My specialization is Elementary and Middle School curriculum. They represent the most important formative period in the education of a young mind. It is my understanding that a great learning experience and excellent scores obtain in 4th-8th grades give a child a winning edge in the competition to be admitted to the best high schools and later, to the best colleges. I strongly believe that not having an excellent knowledge of the basics of math and ELA can be detrimental to a child's future academic achievements.
