Mirror Sound Studio offers the Practical Audio Recording Course. PARC is one 3 hour class per week for 10 weeks. Learn how to use microphones (condenser, dynamic, ribbon and PZM), how to use both digital and analog recording gear like equalizers and compressors to change the sound of each of the tracks as you prepare for your mix. Learn studio recording procedures, Learn tips on tracking, overdubbing and mixing. Learn about Digital Audio Workstations like Pro Tools, Logic, Sonar and Samplitude. Discover Mastering and how the final your product is enhanced by this process. Learn studio techniques from real engineers. During the course you will help out on real sessions doing, drum and guitar miking and vocal tracking. True individualized "Hands-On Training" is a big part of PARC's success. In class student projects provide for the students to experience the song production process start to finish. Parc has been highly successfully helping folks learn the art of recording for over 15 years in Seattle. Instructor Ken Fordyce, has been teaching the Art of Recording for over 15 years notably with the University of Washington Experimental College.
