Get effective help from an experienced instructor with an excellent history of teaching and also advanced knowledge (PhD in Mathematics). I was a Mathematics instructor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and at several of its associated community colleges for 11 years, as well as teaching last year at St. Edward's University.

Elementary Algebra 1, Elementary Algebra 2, Accelerated Algebra Foundations, College Algebra, Survey of Mathematics, Precalculus 1, Precalculus 2 (Trigonometry), Calculus I, Calculus II and Calculus III.

I have also been a TA and tutor for many Stats and higher level Math classes. I can tutor you in any college level Math class (including 300, 400 level and most graduate classes), introductory statistics classes, and beginning data science classes. I can also give practical strategies and tutoring for standardized tests such as the GRE, GMAT, SAT, Compass test, etc.

I have been a private tutor in Hawai'i, Ireland and Canada for over twenty years. As a result, I have developed ways to teach you a great deal in a short time, thus saving you money. (For example, I once taught a bright student Calculus 1 in 6-8 hours, although that is an exceptional result). I usually charge $50 per hour but I am going to charge the first ten students to reply to this ad $40/hr to get my tutoring service up and running. If you are one of those ten, I won't raise your rate ever, even if we work together for years.

I live in East Austin, so I plan to meet students in the common area of my building. I can travel to you if transportation time and cost are covered.
