I am an experienced caregiver, both having cared for both of my parents through end of life diagnoses as well as caring for other seniors for pay or volunteer for total of about 8 years. I am an expert advocate in medical, hospital, and hospice settings. I love, love, love, caring for seniors! When I was getting my Master's in Psychology, I studied Alzheimer's and even worked on a government research program on the disease, interviewing hundreds of victims throughout New York City. It was most gratifying work. My Father passed away of throat cancer, but in fact also lived through the mid-stages of Alzheimer's. I have experience with focused health management, i.e. keeping a keen eye on all current and potential issues, medication, various therapies, diabetes, lung cancer, kidney failure, severe aches and pains from various causes, Parkinsons, and depression to name a few. My forte is companionship. I love to take my people out as they wish, maybe to see friends or do a little shopping, certainly for appointments. My goal is to make their days the best and most fullfilling possible.

I am a Christian who lives a quiet and content life. I am seeking a Christian home; I don't drink, smoke anything, or even take medication except for the occasional ibuprofen. I read the Bible for hours a day, do some service, and am writing a book, so I can be with your loved one as much as he/she desires, and when he/she wants her own time, I can do things quietly. I hired a private live-in caregiver for my Dad before I could take over. This caregiver was a great inspiration to me. My Dad never ate better, got out for rides in the car almost every day, was so well groomed, and the caregiver Always responded to my communications. I could trust him. You can trust me. I know what it's like to be on the other side of this equation. I would naturally keep things up in the house, and love to cook to please. Again, for me this is a relationship. You live with the person and it needs to be a good feeling for both parties. My last client called me her best friend. I felt the same way. I am currently wrapping up a project and am available for live-in asap. I also have a wonderful small service dog who loves my clients and they love him! I have a great car, insurance, and excellent references.

My rate ranges from between 900 and 1300 a week depending on level of service for a 6 day week. I am interested in relocating and can even help loved ones who are traveling between the East coast and Florida. If you are interested in knowing more, please contact me
