Do you need gardening help? By preparing your garden now, you can have a beautiful garden next spring/summer. Contact me and I'll help you with any of the fall gardening tasks listed below. No job is too small and all are important!
• Dig, dry, and store tender bulbs such as gladioli, dahlias, cannas, and tuberous begonias
• Cut back, divide, and replant summer-flowering perennials
• Clean up vegetable garden – remove plant debris and add 2-3” compost over top
• Bring in potted annuals
• Tackle those weeds
• Mulch trees, shrubs, and garden beds, adding extra mulch over the crown of any perennials that were planted this year
• Plant spring bulbs – daffodil, tulip, hyacinth, etc. until the ground freezes
• Plant garlic
• Rake leaves and add to compost or shred them and use to mulch gardens
• Decorate for Halloween!
