Location: Central library (soundproof room) or your home
Rates: $45 for 1 hour, $80 for 2 hours
Available: Any day, 8am-8pm


Here's my background information:

I grew up in downtown HB while attending Smith School, Dwyer Middle School, Huntington Beach High School, & Orange Coast College. During my years at Dwyer and HBHS, I took music as an elective including Concert Band, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, & Jazz Band. In addition, I took advanced music courses at OCC while performing at various venues.

I have experience giving lessons to a 5th grader and volunteered at Smith School assisting the trumpet section on a daily basis. I purchased an additional trumpet for student use so if you don't have one, your child can learn on mine!

I'm very patient and detail oriented. I enjoy making learning fun and understand the importance of music education. I love sharing my experiences of places I have performed and the best spots to attend shows such as Drum Corps International events.

My method of teaching involves assisting with assignments, using books and CD's for memorization, and listening to some motivational music. I like to use the personal approach by playing along with the student so they feel comfortable how to get started and continue good practice habits.
