Short version: She gave my hair permanent heat damage (which she refused to admit), my natural curl pattern (that took me two years to grow out) is gone, she said she would give me half my money back ($45) and she only gave me $25.
Long version: Went to Malika for a silk press and trim. She did that with a steam hydration. My hair stayed straight for the week that I left it out and when I went to wash it my natural curls did not revert. I expect all professional stylists to put the health of their clients' hair first so I wanted my money back ($75 + $15 tip) so that I could go somewhere to get the straight parts cut off as much as possible. She offered me half of my money back then sent me $25. Never in the two years that I have been growing out my natural hair has my hair been remotely straight while wet. She refused to admit my hair is damaged and would not give me a full refund. Would not recommend.
