Simple oil change steps
1 Step. Prepare all necessary tools
To change it by yourself, you need a pair of rubber gloves, car jack, a towel, drain plug wrench, funnel, oil and according filter. That’s because they are normally changed along with oil as well.
Start your car’s engine and make sure that oil got warm. Then to get ready to another step you should use a proper jack that is needed to lift your car. 4 Step. Fill the new oil
When every previous step is done and the work underneath your car is over you can move to another step. Take the manual and decide how much new oil you need to pour. So, remove the oil cap, then place the funnel in the hole and fill it. To finish, close the cap tightly.
5 Step. Check everything is ok
Run your car for a little bit to let the new oil circulate. Don’t forget to check if there are no leaks underneath. Of course before doing it, take the car off jacks.
