Another moving company cancelled our appointment 1 and 1/2 hours before they were to show up. In a crunch and last minute I reached out to Allstar Movers. Ray took my call and said they could accommodate me. Ray and Seth were professional, communicated as issues arose and moved us satisfactorily. We added Jay for a quick return trip and he was equally as professional. I will use Allstar again and am going to definitely refer my family, friends and colleagues to them.
Rayshon Jones was one of the rudest people I have ever had the unfortunate time of interacting with. I would recommend staying as far away from him and his company as possible.
I booked his moving services 3 weeks before my move date. I had to wait 72 hours for every response I received from him. He finally asked what time I preferred he come. I told him I could be flexible but preferred 9am.
This extremely poor customer service was not even the worst part. Rayshon called me at 8:30PM the night before my scheduled service at 9AM (so barely 12 hours before) and was completely rude and dismissive. He started the conversation by telling my I booked in the afternoon, which confused me since I had requested a 9AM service.
I told him I didn't want to cancel because I needed a mover for the next morning. He then said he would not be coming. I tried figuring out something with him and he eventually said "I'm not dealing with this tonight" and hung up on me.
AWFUL. They advertise “ REMEMBER, YOUR MOVE WITH US IS DAMAGE FREE OR YOUR ALLSTAR FEES ARE FREE” funny because they BROKE my 13 month old bottom bed frame and refused to pay for it. His reasoning? My new bed was glued? What?? if he were to actually look at the MANY pictures and video I sent it’s pretty obvious that it’s chipped wood from them not fully dissembling the bed as they were paid to do. Company is filled with liars to help save themselves when they mess up your stuff. I was told that apparently I “told” the movers to not fully dissemble the bed....completely laughable of a joke of a company. What sort of sense would that make to have my bed HALF dissembled so that it could break with all the pressure against it in the moving struck? STAY AWAY
2 guys showed up late (45 mins)
Both looked like sophmores from high school.
They belong in high school not hired out as movers.
Items were damaged, walls were scratched, new wood floors were injured by furniture being drug into the house.
They didn't listen.
Their goon of a boss was so unprofessional in responding to my wife about everything they _ucked up.
Never got compensation.

Don't use them, especially if you have nice furniture.
I would absolutely avoid this company at all costs. After showing up nearly an hour late because "the GPS took a wrong turn", they claimed they could not find parking (there is free parking out front and it was available) and left before my POD arrived for delivery. The supposedly arrived just before 3:00 PM and I had them booked for 3 hours. I asked where they were to come find them and they would not tell me-I don't believe they ever actually arrived. They "left" by 3:15 PM and informed me they would not be helping with the move. I was charged a cancellation fee and full price for the 3 hour window for which they were booked. I hope nobody ever has a similar experience-AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Allstar Movers: Your move was scheduled between 2pm-3pm. We arrived at 2:45pm. Yes, I took a photo of your place. Your pod never showed. We stopped and grabbed us a bite to eat. We finally decided to leave at 4pm, because your pod never showed. Yes, Hireahelper.com which you booked through does charge cancelation fees. Which they did, after I sent a video of us circling your place at 4pm. You need to get angry at the person who lost your pod not the movers. I understand you are angry, but the movers took time out their day to come near DePaul University, where you live. They deserve to get compensated for their travel regardless the communication error between you and pods. Any customer can see his invoice and evidence upon request to disprove his review. Dustin couldn't right a review on hireahelper.com , so he came on this website, because he angry he was charged a cancellation fee, which hireahelper.com gets a cut out of it also, so it was just us.
